Our government contracts law firm has a national reputation. Government contracts attorney Jeff Eckland argued a pivotal case before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2002. The U.S. Supreme Court held, in a 9-0 decision, that when the government enters into business deals with the private sector, it must play by the same rules that apply to its citizens. Franconia Associates v. United States, 536 U.S. 129 (2002). At the ensuing trial, the government was ordered to pay the plaintiffs over $13 million in damages. See id., 61 Fed. Cl. 718 (2004). If you represent a business that is interested in providing goods and services to a government agency, of if your client may be involved with a contract or other dispute with a government agency, please contact our government contract law firm to discuss our availability. |
