Mandatory Disclosure and Compliance Investigations

Mandatory Disclosure and Compliance Investigations

Print

In 2008, the federal government enacted new mandatory disclosure and compliance requirements. These obligations apply to most companies doing business with the federal government, and require many contractors to have both a code of business ethics and an internal control system.

Under these rules, contractors are required to disclose a number of violations including criminal violations and violations of the civil False Claims Act, along with any significant overpayments attributed to defective pricing.

The government contract attorneys at Eckland & Blando LLP assist clients with mandatory disclosures and compliance with all government regulations. In addition, we represent clients in compliance investigations and help them develop strategies to avoid  future investigations.
