Mandatory Disclosure and Compliance Investigations |
|
|
In 2008, the federal government enacted new mandatory disclosure and compliance requirements. These obligations apply to most companies doing business with the federal government, and require many contractors to have both a code of business ethics and an internal control system. Under these rules, contractors are required to disclose a number of violations including criminal violations and violations of the civil False Claims Act, along with any significant overpayments attributed to defective pricing. The government contract attorneys at Eckland & Blando LLP assist clients with mandatory disclosures and compliance with all government regulations. In addition, we represent clients in compliance investigations and help them develop strategies to avoid future investigations. |
