We have big news to share! Eckland & Blando has welcomed a team of excellent lawyers to our Minneapolis office, expanding our employment, non-competition, minority shareholder, class action, and intellectual property litigation practices. Pamela Abbate Dattilo (Partner), Lukas Boehning (Senior Associate), Christopher Johnson (Associate) and Kathryn Rogness (Paralegal) are bringing their dynamic, complex litigation practice to E&B.
Pamela Abbate Dattilo is a seasoned litigator and trial attorney with expertise in shareholder, partnership, non-compete, sexual misconduct, and employment disputes. She is also regularly engaged to conduct sensitive employment and school investigations, especially those involving sexual misconduct, where discretion and professionalism are critical. Her practice also encompasses advice and counseling for employers and schools on an array of employment and school law issues.
Lukas Boehning is a creative and dedicated advocate, representing businesses, employers, and employees in cases of unfair competition and illegal restraints of trade. Lukas has a proven track record of representing employers and employees against accusations by competitors of business tort claims such as tortious interference, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, breach of duty, and violations of restrictive covenants. He is also skilled in protecting clients against wrongful acts by current or former employees, such as stealing intellectual property and secretly working against their employer’s interest.
Christopher Johnson brings extensive experience in litigating complex patent suits at both the federal court and the USPTO. After working with an IP boutique in Minneapolis, Christopher expanded his practice to include broader civil litigation and counseling. His expertise now covers business and employment law, trademarks, patents, non-profit compliance, and legal matters for private schools, religious organizations, and issues of religious liberty.
Kathryn Rogness received her JD from the University of St. Thomas School of Law with honors in 2007. Having worked as a practicing attorney, she brings an unmatched skill set to her work as a paralegal in support of the firm’s clients in a variety of practice areas.
At Eckland & Blando, we are proud to have these talented professionals joining our team, bringing fresh perspectives and unmatched dedication to serve our clients.
Please join us in welcoming Pamela, Lukas, Chris, and Katie to the firm!
